| Summary, etc. | Summary:Heutzutage ist das Wissen um die vielfältigen Dimensionen der Ungerechtigkeit, ob sozial, politisch kulturell, sexuell, ethnisch oder religiös, weit verbreitet. Wenig Aufmerksamkeit hingegen erfährt die Tatsache, dass es bereits eine Hierarchie in Bezug auf die verschiedenen Weisen gibt, wie wir unsere Umwelt wahrnehmen und mit Bedeutung versehen. Dabei ignoriert die westliche hegemoniale Epistemologie die unterschiedlichen Wissensproduktionen des globalen Südens und definiert die ihre als universal gültig. Doch globale soziale Gerechtigkeit ist erst mit der Anerkennung der nicht-westlichen Epistemologien möglich. Der Autor umreißt eine neue Art von Bottom-up-Kosmopolitismus, in dem Fröhlichkeit, Solidarität und das ›Gute Leben‹ über die Logik des Marktes und des Individualismus triumphieren.
